Tynemouth United Seeks Volunteer Coaches Ahead of 2026/27 Season

Tynemouth United Football Club is calling on members of the local community to get involved ahead of the 2026/27 season, with the club actively recruiting volunteer coaches to support its growing number of teams.

As the club continues to expand, opportunities are now available for individuals to either assist with existing squads or take on the role of leading a team into the new campaign. The initiative reflects Tynemouth United’s ongoing commitment to developing grassroots football and creating a positive environment for players of all ages.

Opportunities at All Levels
The club is welcoming applications from aspiring coaches of all experience levels. Whether individuals are new to coaching or already have experience on the sidelines, there are roles available to suit a range of skills and commitments.

“We’re always looking to strengthen our coaching team, and this season is no different,” said a club spokesperson. “Our continued growth means we need passionate, reliable people to help us deliver the best possible experience for our players.”

Volunteer roles include working alongside established coaches to support training sessions and matchdays, as well as leading teams for those ready to take on a more prominent position.

No Experience Needed – Support Provided
Crucially, previous coaching experience is not essential. Tynemouth United is committed to supporting all new volunteers, providing guidance, mentoring, and access to official FA learning pathways and coaching qualifications.

“We understand that stepping into coaching can feel daunting, but we’ll support volunteers every step of the way,” the spokesperson added. “From FA courses to ongoing mentorship, we want to help people grow in confidence and develop their skills.”

This approach ensures that both players and coaches benefit from a structured, well-supported environment while promoting long-term development within the club.

A Rewarding Way to Get Involved
Volunteering as a coach offers more than just time on the pitch. It provides an opportunity to give back to the community, develop leadership skills, and play a key role in shaping young players’ football journeys.

The club prides itself on its inclusive, community-driven ethos, and volunteers are seen as a vital part of its success both on and off the field.

Join the Team
Tynemouth United is encouraging anyone with an interest in football — including parents, former players, and supporters — to consider getting involved ahead of the new season.

With preparations for 2026/27 already underway, now is the ideal time to join a club that continues to grow and make a positive impact in the local area.
