Exciting developments are underway at Tynemouth United as the club officially announces the introduction of an Under-15 Girls (Saturday) team for the upcoming 2026/27 season. The initiative marks a major step forward in the club’s continued commitment to expanding its youth development programme and supporting the growth of girls’ football at grassroots level.
The new team will provide a dedicated pathway for girls to develop their skills, compete at a structured level, and enjoy the game in an inclusive and supportive environment. Club officials say the move comes in response to increased demand and the growing popularity of women’s and girls’ football both locally and nationally.
