Forest Hall Juniors Under 11 United V Tynemouth United Under 11 Blues

On a Wet and Windy Wednesday evening Tynemouth Under 11 Blues first official match was a tough game for the team first outing. Tynemouth playing in a 2, 2, 3, 1 formation, Forest Hall United were organised and had some strong players, especially the young lass Jess on their right wing, very calm and composed on the ball which caused us some trouble. Forest Hall raced into an early lead before Tynemouth settled into the game where we enjoyed some attacking play, with some great runs from both Kian J and Josh R. Logan L battle very well as our lone striker always looking to be open and always looking to put Forest Hall defence on the back foot, and on another day the service into Logan may have bore more fruit. In the 2nd half Tynemouth were undone by some defence splitting passes to both our wings with some clinical finishing by Forest Hall, but again Tynemouth showed some good spells of interplay most notably between Josh R and Harvey W who was a revelation by calmly sticking to his task of trying to interrupt Forest Halls forward momentum. In the Forest Hall proved to be a big task for the Blues but they battled to end and not one of them dropped their heads.
