Frustrating game away from home

This was a good game against an organised side that defended well with alot of players at the back which frustrated our attacks and their chances fell better for them on the day.
They scored an early goal by pressing forward quickly which was initially defended well by Joey but they were able to capitalise on the rebound.
Charlie made some good runs forward but the physicality of the opposition prevented as many clear shots at goal as normal but Charlie's determination meant he did win a few freekicks and took them well and was unlucky not to get on the score sheet. He played some good balls into Jack who moved forward quickly and looked for space. Charlie played a good ball into to Liam who had a good volley at goal.
Jack done well and made some good chances to run at the opposition down the left and showed good feet and composure but the opposition was very physical and difficult to get through.
Joey played some good balls forward from the back and calmly picked out passes to players in space.
Ethan made some good saves from multiple attacks at goal and played out some good passes.
Tom made some great drives forward and played a good ball into Liam who megged the defender and had a shot which was saved.
Harry worked hard throughout battling to win balls, tracking back and making some good runs and passes forward. He put in some great tackles and blocks and had a great work rate.
Some good passing between Joey to Charlie to Harry to Charlie to Liam and back to Charlie who's shot was saved.
Liam had some great runs and also made some good tackles at the back to help out in defence.
Bradley held the ball up well and shielded the ball correctly allowing him to play some good balls forward one which went to Ben who pushed forward and passed then to Liam who's shot was forced out for a corner.
Second quarter was much of the same as the first with the oppositions defence being difficult to get through and break down.
Ben made some good blocks at the back and also pushed forward at times linking up well with Bradley and Liam.
Some good passing between Bradley to Charlie back to Bradley who had a good shot at the goalkeeper which wasn't quite hard enough to get it to sneak underneath him.
Toby made some good drives forward winning throw ins and making some good runs and passes forwarded putting the opposition under pressure.
Toby played a good ball to Bradley who played a pass to Charlie who's shot was saved.
Joey pushed forward more in the third quarter and received a long ball forward from Harry and Joey calmly played a pass to Charlie who drove forward and was forced out for a corner.
Harry's battling continued and made some great passes forward as well as tracking back to defend.
Joey got on the score sheet with a goal which was similar to other chances we had which bobbled around between players inside the box due to Westmoor once again defending heavily at the back but this time Joey managed to get a hold of it and put it in the back of the net.
The last quarter we were starting to get into the game with some great determination shown by Tom at the back. Ethan worked hard running everything down and putting players under pressure. Liams had a great work rate in the last quarter and he put pressure on the opposition by driving at them going forward then closing them down quickly. He also made some important tackles helping to defend at the back.
Toby did well in goal doing his bit for the team and did a good job distributing the ball out to players in space.
Liam put in a good cross to Ben who's shot at goal hit the crossbar abit like the oppositions first goal the rebound was leapt upon by Jack who put it past the goalkeeper.
The man of the match went to Harry who worked at 100% for the whole time he played and battled for every ball, made good passes and runs forward.
Welldone to everyone for your efforts and on another day I think we would definitely have the beating of this opposition but today it just wasn't to be. Keep your heads up and bring it next time.
