TUFC are working to donate previous season playing strips to Kenyan school.

Tynemouth United FC have teamed up with Frank Recruitment Group to donate playing kits to St. Martin’s School in Kenya. To achieve this, we are working to gather up all playing strips, training kits, hoodies and jackets from previous seasons with the aim of sending as many good quality strips to the school for use by their school sports teams.

For the duration of 2019, Frank Recruitment Group, have chosen St. Martin’s School in Nairobi, Kenya as their global charity of the year with staff across their 20 worldwide offices all participating in Sales Days & Events to raise funds. A selection of Frank Recruitment Group staff will also be heading over to St Martin’s School during 2019 to assist with building projects, CV writing workshops and 1-2-1 coaching. During their visits, they will also deliver our club kit to the school. You can find out more about Frank Recruitment Groups work with St. Martin’s School Here

You can still help us, help the school by returning any of your previous season playing strips, training strips, hoodies and jackets to your team coach. These will then be placed into temporary storage for sorting.

We will be bringing you updates about the journey of our playing kits over the coming months as they make their way to Kenya.

TUFC Publicity Officer, Academy Coach & Server Administrator at Frank Recruitment Group - Kevin Office has this to say:
"It has been great to be able to combine both my paid work and voluntary work together to help provide what will be over 20 playing kits to St. Martin's School enabling their sports teams to participate in team games in matching playing kits.

Although I won't be personally delivering the kits to the school, a group of my colleagues will be heading to Kenya to hand out the kits and they will be sending back photographs so we can update you all on the impact the kits have on the students of the school."
