Tynemouth record a win in scorching conditions
Tynemouth started the KYPC Summer League with a win.

Tynemouth started their summer league up against a strong Forest Hall side.
Forest Hall were unlucky not to score straight from kick off as the number 11 found his way through on goal but was cleared off the line by Harry. This was followed by a great run from Forest Hall number 12 who saw his shot fly just past Thomas in goal.
Tynemouth had their first chance on 6 minutes as Robert found himself in space but was put out of play by the recovering defender.
Forest Hall immediately went up the other end which saw a last ditch challenge by Oliver denying a certain goal which the ball eventually found its way into the grateful arms of Thomas.
The first shot on target from Tynemouth came on 17 minutes as Sam tested the keeper from just outside the area, this was then cleared up the pitch which found Forest Hall number 7 who found himself 15 yards out hitting an ambitious shot just missing the top corner.
Tynemouth opened the scoring with George firing a volley straight from a corner past the stranded keeper on 20 minutes.
Second half proved more of the same proving to be a great opener to the summer league in very high temperatures.
Tynemouth doubled their lead with Charlie scoring a sublime finish hitting off the crossbar and to the delight of the midfielder.
Forest Hall immediately hit back with another great effort which hit the cross bar and in off the back of Christopher which was very unlucky but a great effort by the number 11.
Neither side had any time to add to their tally as the referee blew his whistle to end proceedings.
Well done to both teams for trying non stop in the hot conditions! Great effort all round!
